A person’s Telegram groups by ID
Send @username_to_id_bot the person’s numeric ID, their username, a message forwarded from them, or pick them with the button under the input field. If the bot knows at least one group, it shows how many. The list comes from the button under the reply: a message and an Excel file. The price is on the button.
How to ask
- The person’s username, alone in the message. A “Groups: N” line appears under the ID.
- A message forwarded from that person. The same line.
- The pick-user button under the input field.
- A numeric ID. While the card is locked, the “Username and N groups” button (or “Name and N groups” when there is no username) opens both the card and the list with one payment. On an opened card the button is “Group list: N groups”. The number of groups is on the button.
- Your own numeric ID in a private chat. The bot says it is your ID and adds an “About your account” block with a Groups line, when it knows any.
When there is no line
- A group, channel or bot username. These lines are for a person.
- Several usernames in one message. That check needs a subscription, and the reply is short ID lines, without the lists.
- The bot knows no groups. A zero line is left out.
- The person hid their data. If that happened after you paid, the bot says so and returns the stars.
- In a group, the chat keeps the count and a “Details in a private chat” button. It only opens the private chat with the bot: send the same request there, and the reply has the list button with the price.
What the list contains
The message lists the groups: a public one by its username, a private one by its title. A mark shows when the person is an admin there or has left. A long message is cut; the file keeps the full set.
The file is named groups- plus the person’s numeric ID. Columns: title, username, link, chat ID, access (public or private), admin, left, messages, first message, last message, last message ID, last message link. An empty cell means the bot does not have that detail. The last-message link exists only for a group that has a username.
What is paid
The count is free. The list and the file are one purchase, and the price is on the button. A subscription does not include this list: a subscriber sees a different price on the button, and the bot says the file is bought separately. A list already bought opens again with no new charge.
The “Don't offer” button removes the list block under later replies. /offers in a private chat brings it back. These lists are not in the HTTP API. The API returns username → id only.
