A person’s messages in Telegram groups
Send @username_to_id_bot the person’s username, a message forwarded from them, or pick them with the button. When messages in groups are known, the ID reply has a “Messages in groups: N” line. The messages come as an Excel file from the button. The price is on the button. The count is free.
How to ask
- One username of a person, a forwarded message, or the pick-user button.
- Your own numeric ID in a private chat: the “About your account” block.
- Someone else’s numeric ID in a private chat: the line appears on the opened card. A locked card does not have it; that card offers groups only.
What the file contains
These are the person’s messages in public groups, newest first. Columns: date, chat, chat username, link, text.
Messages with no text are left out of the file. If the bot did not collect every message, the caption says how many of the total are in the file. If it collected them all and some had no text, the caption says how many had text. If there are no messages with text at all, the reply is “No messages with text found.” instead of a file.
A file already bought is not charged again: the bot reminds you it was already sent, and the “Show again” button sends it once more.
When there is no line
- No messages in groups are known. A zero is left out.
- The lookup is a group, a channel or a bot.
- Several usernames in one message.
- The person hid their data. If that happened after you paid, the bot says so and returns the stars.
- In a group chat the count stays, with a “Details in a private chat” button. It only opens the private chat: send the same request there to get the file button.
- The block is hidden with the “Don't offer” button and restored with /offers.
What is paid
The count is free. The file is paid, and the price is on the button. A subscription does not include the file; a subscriber sees a different price on the button. The HTTP API does not return these messages.
