Past Telegram usernames
Send @username_to_id_bot the person’s username, a message forwarded from them, or pick them with the button. When earlier usernames are known, the ID reply has a “Past usernames: N” line. The list opens from the button under the reply. The price is on the button. The count is free.
How to ask
- One username of a person, a forwarded message, or the pick-user button.
- Your own numeric ID in a private chat: an “About your account” block with the past-usernames line, when there are any.
- Someone else’s numeric ID in a private chat: the line appears after the card is opened. A locked card does not have it. The locked card can still offer groups.
What comes back
The list is one message. Each line is @username and the date it was seen, as YYYY-MM-DD. The date can be empty. The message holds up to 80 lines, then an ellipsis.
The purchase is once. The same list can be shown again for free. If the bot found nothing, the reply is the heading and an empty list, not invented usernames.
When there is no line
- There are no earlier usernames. A zero is left out.
- The lookup is a group, a channel or a bot.
- Several usernames in one message (subscription only): short ID lines, without this list.
- The person hid their data. If that happened after you paid, the bot says so and returns the stars.
- In a group chat the count stays, with a “Details in a private chat” button. It only opens the private chat: send the same request there to get the list button.
- The “Don't offer” button removes the block. /offers in a private chat brings it back.
What is paid
The count is free. The list is paid, and the price is on the button. A subscription does not include the list and does not change its price: a subscriber sees the same price on the button. Past names are a separate list and a separate button. These lists are not in the HTTP API.
